Either King or Pawn

The Philosophy of Choice

Snow Everywhere

No two the same…it falls at random,

Soft-melting, in an open hand, to the touch.

Does it fall like rain-refreshing?

Earth’s renewal giving flowers reason.

Questions come of honest youth,

Curious.

From windows of the church,

That cold and faithful night.

Mother’s patience was one,

Unmatched by any saint.

But limits were reached,

Questions causing praise to reacquaint.

Is it snowing outside?

Yes, it is snowing.

Is it snowing at home?

There too, white powder is blowing.

Niecy’s too?

Curious,

One look said…enough.

It falls on us, it falls on them; everywhere there is snow.
